Here is a group of Mapletown High School students at the beginning of the Trail in Greensboro.  Mapletown helps maintain the Trail in the Eastern part of the county.  The Trail is also used as part of several classes.  West Greene High School also helps with trail maintenance.

This is the Warrior Trail Headquarters building in Fordyce.   It is an original one - room schoolhouse that was built in the late 1800's.  It was last operated as a school in the 1960's.  The Trail Association has a meeting here on the last Thursday of the month.  The meetings are a covered dish dinner with a speaker.  Visitors are always welcome and there is always plenty to eat.

This is the Mominger shelter.  There are three adirondack style shelters on the Trail at approximately ten mile intervals.

This is a guest speaker at a Warrior Trail Meeting.  His name is Mickey Davis.  He presented a fascinating program on the early history of Greene County and came dressed and equiped as an early frontiersman.

This is a picture of a portion of the Trail taken on a lovely April day.
